CLASSES ARE FILLING UP! SIGN UP NOW!
Beginning June 21 and running through August 20, Style Sanctum is offering an exciting summer program that builds on the foundation of our popular StyleSanctum101 series allowing children of all ages to spend a fun-filled and information-packed week looking at one single topic from the world of fashion. As always, we are here to meet your needs so sign-up for the entire eight weeks or only for the weeks that hold the most interest for you. The morning (9-Noon) and afternoon (1-4) classes are structured so that you can find a time that works for your busy schedule. Whatever you decide, we’re glad you’re here. Summer classes are $155 per week for half day and $185 per week for all day, which includes all materials, snacks, etc.

Camp Dates: June 21 - 25
Camp Description: Join us on a week long journey as we take a wholistic view of the fashion industry from the other side of the 
runway. Learn about how clothes go from inside a designer’s head to the runway to the stores. Learn how to pick the trends that are right for you! Become your own fashion icon by discovering your inner style! This class culminates with a field trip to one of our retail partners.

Camp Dates: June 28 - July 2
Camp Description: Becoming a fashion designer takes lots of research, in this class we will look at how this research translates into the looks we see on the runway and in the stores. From drawing the croquis to the final runway bow, this class will reveal all of the insider secrets to making a collection that is runway perfect.

Camp Name: Drawing and Clothing the Fashion Figure (This week is FULL. Please email info@stylesanctum.com to be added to the wait list.)
Camp Dates: July 12 - 16
Camp Description: In this class, (our most requested) students learn how to draw and manipulate the fashion figure to communicate ideas. The class will cover the history and the reasons behind the figure and your child will leave with a sketchbook and portfolio to RAVE about!

Camp Name: Fashion Color!
Camp Dates: July 19 - 23
Camp Description: Color is one of the most important aspects of designing a collection. It makes the collection “in season or out” and makes the wearer of the clothing feel happy, sad or POWERFUL! In this class we will take a fun look at color, through the use of the most popular tools in the industry, students will create collections that will make the rainbow envious!

Camp Name: Draping
Camp Dates: July 26 - 30
Camp Description: Learning to take a design and make it into a pattern requires tons and tons of work. This class looks at this two dimensional way of bringing a garment to life.

Camp Name: Joint camp with Studio B Pottery
Camp Dates: August 2 - 6
Camp Description: Wow! It has been one BUSY summer! As the summer winds down, we thought it would be great to get inspired through the creation of pottery! This camp will be held at Style Sanctum and Studio B Pottery (5 doors down from the fashion-art studio). Kids will have the chance to walk a few feet down the sidewalk to an awesome pottery studio where they will take a break from their fashion whirlwind by designing, well, pottery. And as a special treat, we will end this week with an ice cream sundae party!

Camp Name: The Art of Making Clothes/Fabric Design
Camp Dates: August 9 - 13
Camp Description: In this fun (and technical) class, students will actually take the clothing they sketch and learn the ways to turn them into clothing they can wear! We will have fun playing with fabric, and draping the mannequins on our quest to find the way in which movement impacts a design. This class will also focus on how fabric is created and selected by designers for their collections! The class will feature a peek into how fabric is dyed, the fabric printing process and more!

Camp Name: Portfolio Creation
Camp Dates: August 16 - 20
Camp Description: Wow! It’s been a great summer, with a lot of hard work! What do you do with it all? This class will show you how to put together the ultimate portfolio. Whether applying for design school or beginning a portfolio that will last a lifetime-this end of summer industry party is one you won’t want to miss as the week culminates with a workshop on gaining admission to art school conducted in partnership with SCAD, Savannah College of Art and Design.
